FIGHT FOR THE RIGHTS OF WOMEN!

     

 


The Philippines has made remarkable strides in protecting the rights and freedom of women's, particularly with Anti- Violence Against Women and Their Children Act (VAWC) of 2004. It states that it seek to protect children and women from an abusive by their intimate partners. This landmark legislation serves as a powerful protection of hope for women's who've suffered in silence and in the dark.

Base on research that have been studies one out of five filipinos experienced physical violence since age of 15. The trauma and fear are palpable, but RA 9262 offers a comprehensive safeguard against physical, sexual, psychological and economic abuse. No longer must victims alone, we should love and protect them and not abuse them. RA 9262 provides immediate refuge though protection orders, criminal penalties to deter perpetrators and support services like counseling shelter. This intricate web of safeguards fosters trust, empowerng women to claim their right and freedom. In addition to RA9262, their are many laws now that protects women and children. A 9710, R10398, BARANGAY PROTECTION ORDERS: SWIFT LOCAL PROTECTION AND NATIONAL COMMISION ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.


Despite these laws the rigth of women and children are still far away of achieving. With that being said we citezens should protect and love them because in the end of the day tehy are the brigth future of our country. We should Start to treat them eqaully so the future generations will be in peace and children and womens have freedom.
