Filipino Pride
Our country is known for their resilience even though we are facing many ups and downs to our country. We face disasters like natural disasters, social problems, and political problems. We faced them with wide and warm smiles on our faces and arose from the damage of these. Our resilience is also being applauded and idolized by the other countries. Our determination and dedication to resolve the problems we make as a Filipino pride.
The Philippines is a risky county for natural disasters due to its location in the Pacific Ring of Fire and the typhoon belt. Our country frequently experiences earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and typhoons, that are hitting our country's Philippines. Climate change also has a very big negative effect to our country that is resulting in more intense and damageable problems. In addition to that, our country right now is facing a very alarming increase rate to our population that causes poverty to our country. Lastly, our political status right now is not in a good because our leaders not in a good term and many corruption is happening inside and outside the senates.
To solve these alarming problems, our country's government has henimplemented various measures to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) plays a very important role in protecting us from natural disasters In case of emergency. Recently, we also have projects designed to withstand flood control systems and earthquake-resistant buildings. Our country conducts seminars to the citizens about poverty, family planning and teenage pregnancy. We also have programs like 4p's to solve the poverty problem for our country. Our president also is trying his best to eliminate the people who are corrupting our country.
Despite these efforts, several challenges are still there to test the resilience of Filipinos. We have limited funds to make more projects in solving natural disasters and also resources which limit the government to deliver relief goods immediately. Our population is still growing fast and despite all of the projects of the government, many peoples are not still aware of our poverty and consequences of their doings. Lastly, many of our leaders are still in the senate even knowing their doings especially in corruption to our country's funds.
