Our Saviors in the Future

 


The 2024 National Children's Month Celebration that happens in the month of November in the Philippines, focuses on the urgent issue of violence that is happening to the children of our country. " Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines" is the theme of for this year's National Children's Month.It fucos on urgent need of children's protection from any forms of violence and abuse that is rapidly increasing nowadays. This kind of celebration every year is to spread awareness, advocate Children's about their rights, encourage people to protect children's and it also serves as an eye opener to the community to take actions against this violence issue happening towards children.

This event is led by the Council for the Welfare of Childer( CWC), they lead it with passion and determination to help immobilized the increasing rate of violence towards children with their various activities, advocacy, campaigns and educational programs to empower the children, families and the communities here in our country. This event is also supported by our government, local units and private organizations who also want to make a move on addressing child protection concerns. With their collaborative efforts and also the help of citizens like us, we can create more safe and healthy communities, not only to the children here in our generations but also to the children in the future of our country. We should make a country for our children to grow healthy and strive without violence.



 
This event is to us, that we should protect the children because just like Dr. Jose Rizal said " Ang mga kabataan ang pagasa ng bayan", so we should continue to make our country safe and believe in the children to our county and not to abuse and make violence to them.
